Dear,

I was tried follow your guide, but it was not working, i re-explain the process that i've done:

Sorry, i have to care when do something strange on my VM, so i have to create another VM (window 2003) to test first. My VM i created has 30GB HDD and when i provision my VM, the Not-shared Storage is ~ 3GB, after that i fill to storage 20GB data and delete it. On this time, when i browse datastore, in the location of that VM, the .vmdk file is~ 23GB but when login to the VM, the real data was just ~3GB, this step is ok for test.

After download and run Sdelete.exe from the VM, you see the result on the first picture.

Next, i'll show you my storage configuration, the next picture show you 2 datastore i use in this step, thestore 2 format with VMFS3 and another (store 4) is VMFS 5

The VM is currently working on Store 4. The next 2 picture show you detail of each datastore

Store 2

Store 4

http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x453/daicanhieu/2013-01-21_110336_zps500f3d71.jpg

After run Sdelete, i use Vmotion (just right-click on VM, choose Migrate, choose change datastore as below picture) to move datastore from Vm-store 4 to Vm-store 2

http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x453/daicanhieu/2013-01-21_113526_zps5d50930d.jpg

When the process finish, what i saw is in the first picture with nothing change.

Any ideas ?

Thank you very much
