SNMP values disagree with HP hpacucli

Hello

Enabled SNMP on ESXi5.  Walking the MIB tree, i found the HP logical volumes

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrDeviceDescr.18 = STRING: LUN HP       LOGICAL VOLUME   5.70 naa.600508b1001c7690e66b3980f897326f
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrDeviceDescr..20 = STRING: LUN HP       LOGICAL VOLUME   5.70 naa.600508b1001c45c476c2d28c21e39f7a

but their hrDeviceStatus, as reported by SNMP is:

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrDeviceStatus.18 = INTEGER: warning(3)

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrDeviceStatus.20 = INTEGER: warning(3)

but

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrDeviceErrors.18 = Counter32: 0

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrDeviceErrors.20 = Counter32: 0

been informed of an unusual error condition by the
operational software (e.g., a disk device driver) but
that the device is still 'operational'.  An example
would be a high number of soft errors on a disk.

This is at odds with hpacucli, which reports both LD's as OK.  I would have expected see errors in hpacucli

Any thoughts or suggestions on the nature of this discrepancy?  I would tend to trust hpacucli over other sources.. Logs and VSphere Client UI Events show nothing out of the ordinary.

thanks!
