We just purchased a new HP 585 G7 with 4 opteron processors. I am new to VM so i hope this is not a stupid question. I searched and didnt see anything.
When I boot from the disc to install VM it goes through the initial window where you see all the files copying down the left side of the screen. Then when it goes to the initializing screen, it never goes past that (usually reboots on initializing users). The server just restarts and does everything all over again. I have looked at a bios update but i only see one to install when the OS installed and booted up, wihch i cant get done. Anyone have any ideas? I have tried the HP VM image and the standard image.
